Feedback From The Junction

The rough cut was shown at the Junction and the feedback I was given is as follows:

When it was projected onto the screen, the video was much darker than it looked whilst editing. They liked how the screen was dark as you couldn't see the band much. This made the band mysterious which they liked. I feel the video worked better when you could actually see the band.

They liked the effects, especially the bad TV one, which they said i should use more of as it gave it a totally different feel to if it had just been them in a room. It caused a bit of confusion and made it better.

They also liked the fact that it was done in a small room, and made it feel like you were just in a practise room in a warehouse/industrial area, which is where the video was filmed.

My Response

This is generally pretty good feedback. The only disappointing aspect of the feedback i recieved is that they never actually gave me anything to improve upon for the finalcut.
